Course exchange
Students attending six-week programs register for at least six credits, or the equivalent required in the CollegeSuccess program. In the CollegeSuccess program, you must register for a minimum of three credits in addition to Critical Reading and Thinking (HE 100) for two credits. You cannot withdraw from a credit course and still meet the requirements of the program unless you register in another course.
We will accept written requests for course changes if they are received in the Summer College Academic Advising office (B20 Day Hall) by June 6, 2008. Once you're on campus, it's a good idea to shop around the first two days to make sure your courses are right for you. (We also suggest waiting to buy your books until you are certain you are in the right courses.) If you decide to make a change, you can do so if the course you want has room and you meet the course prerequisites. Changes may be made from 9:00 a.m. to noon or 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Academic Advising office from Monday, June 23 - Friday, June 27. All changes must be approved by Abby Eller, the director, or Janna Bugliosi, assistant director. We're happy to meet with you to discuss any problems with your courses at any time during your program. Please keep in mind the final exam schedule and your travel arrangements when you change a course.
Consider carefully before making a change. Catching up in a new class can be difficult. Remember, you won't want to take more than one writing course or two quantitative courses.
