Academic support

To help you keep up with our fast-paced and rigorous program, we offer plenty of workshops, tutors, and advising services, including:

  • College Success workshops offered throughout the summer, starting with the intensive "College Success Crash Course" on the Sunday of opening weekend;
  • Math tutors, available Sunday–Thursday nights in the Carol Tatkon Center; and
  • Drop-in writing workshops Sundays through Thursdays in the Carol Tatkon Center.

We also invite you to visit the Summer College Academic Advising Office in B20 Day Hall. Jim Schechter, director, or Janna Bugliosi, associate director, has office hours: Mondays through Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., and Fridays 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Call for an appointment at other times (telephone 607.255.6203).
