Cornell University Library

One of the leading academic research libraries in the United States, Cornell University Library is a highly valued partner in teaching, research, and learning at the university, offering cutting-edge services and a full spectrum of library resources, from rare books and manuscripts to a rapidly expanding network of digital resources. As a Summer College student, you'll enjoy the full suite of services offered there.

To activate your library borrowing privileges, you must bring your Cornell picture ID to the Access Services Office in 116 Olin Library. Office hours are 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Monday–Thursday and 8:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Friday. And while you're there, take some time to explore some of the wonderful things the library has to offer.

The Cornell University Library is available to you from your dorm room as well, and from anywhere else that you can connect to the Internet. At the Cornell Library Gateway you can search the library catalog and a variety of electronic indexes, chat with a reference librarian, read an electronic book or electronic journal, use one of the library's outstanding digital collections, view a library exhibition, and more.
