Parking
For the Tuesday evening indoor events at the Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, we recommend parking in the parking garage off of Dryden Road.
Driving Directions
From the New York City area: take I-80 west to I-380 west to I-81 north to Route 79 west.
From Route 79 west: (in part of Ithaca, Route 79 is called State Street) Look for a sign to the Cornell Campus. Turn right onto Pine Tree Road. Go 1.6 miles to the second light). Turn left onto Dryden Road/NYS Route 366. Stay on 366 (keep an eye on the map here!) for .4 miles until you reach the light where 366 goes straight and Dryden Road turns to the right (a stone gas station is on the left). Turn right onto Dryden Road. Turn right at the next traffic light (College Avenue). The Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts is the last building on the left before the bridge. Please use the main lobby entrance.
From the New England area: Take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) west to I-88 west to Route 206 west to Route 79 west. From areas west of New York State, take the New York State Thruway (I-90) east to Route 96 south.
From routes 96 south, 89 south, or 79 east: Signs will direct you up Buffalo Street. Turn left at the top of the hill onto Eddy Street. Take the next right onto Dryden Road. Turn left at the first traffic light (College Avenue). The Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts is the last building on the left before the bridge. Please use the main lobby entrance.
From Route 96B north: Pass Ithaca College and drive down Aurora Street into the downtown Ithaca area. Continue two blocks, turn right onto Buffalo Street, go up the hill, and turn left at the top of the hill onto Eddy Street. Take the next right onto Dryden Road. Turn left at the first traffic light (College Avenue). The Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts is the last building on the left before the bridge. Please use the main lobby entrance.
From Route 13 north: Go past the fast-food strip. Signs will direct you to Buffalo Street, a right turn. Go up the hill and turn left at the top of the hill onto Eddy Street. Take the next right onto Dryden Road. Turn left at the first traffic light (College Avenue). The Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts is the last building on the left before the bridge. Please use the main lobby entrance.
