Uris Hall

From the New York City area: take I-80 west to I-380 west to I-81 north to Route 79 west. From the New England area, take the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) west to I-88 west to Route 206 west to Route 79 west. From areas west of New York State, take the New York State Thruway (I-90) east to Route 96 south.

From Routes 96 south, 89 south, or 79 east: Signs will direct you up Buffalo Street. Turn left at the top of the hill onto Eddy Street. Take the next right onto Dryden Road. At the first light, turn left onto College Avenue. Cross the bridge and enter the Cornell campus. At the next light, turn right onto Campus Road. At the stop sign turn left onto East Avenue. At the next stop sign Uris Hall is on your right (on the corner of East Avenue and Tower Road).

From Route 79 west (in part of Ithaca, Route 79 is called State Street): Look for a sign to the Cornell Campus. Turn right onto Pine Tree Road. Go 1.6 miles to the stop sign (second light). Turn left onto Dryden Road/NYS Route 366. Where Route 366 turns to the left at the entrance to the campus, go straight ahead. You are now on Hoy Road. At the stop sign turn left onto Campus Road. At the first stop sign turn right onto East Avenue. At the next stop sign Uris Hall is on your right (on the corner of East Avenue and Tower Road).

From Route 96B north: Pass Ithaca College and drive down Aurora Street into the downtown Ithaca area. At the light, turn right onto State Street, go up the hill and (following signs for NYS Route 366) turn left onto Mitchell Street and then bear left onto Ithaca Road. Continue on Route 366 through the light (there is a gas station on the right). At the next corner turn left onto Hoy Road. At the stop sign turn left onto Campus Road. At the first stop sign turn right onto East Avenue. At the next stop sign Uris Hall is on your right (on the corner of East Avenue and Tower Road).

From Route 13 north: Go past the fast-food strip and Wegman's. Signs will direct you Route 79 east (Green Street), a right turn. Go through town, up the hill and (following signs for NYS Route 366) turn left onto Mitchell Street and then bear left onto Ithaca Road. Continue on Route 366 through the light (there is a gas station on the right). At the next corner turn left onto Hoy Road. At the stop sign turn left onto Campus Road. At the first stop sign turn right onto East Avenue. At the next stop sign Uris Hall is on your right (on the corner of East Avenue and Tower Road).

From Route 366 west: Route 366 west is Dryden Road. As you get closer to campus, you will pass the Cornell Orchards on the left and a large parking lot on the right. Go straight until Route 366 branches to the left. You will be at one of the main entrances to Cornell. Go straight ahead. You are now on Hoy Road. At the stop sign turn left onto Campus Road. At the first stop sign turn right onto East Avenue. At the next stop sign Uris Hall is on your right (on the corner of East Avenue and Tower Road).
