High Technology Entrepreneurship Program
May 26 - August 8, 2008 in Silicon Valley
Program director
John Nesheim earned his MBA degree from Cornell University's Johnson Graduate School of Management. He later founded the Nesheim Group to gather the best practices of professionals from around the world who are dedicated to improving the process of converting an idea into a world-class new enterprise.
In addition to teaching courses at Cornell and universities in Asia and Europe, he travels the world conducting workshops for entrepreneurs and the venture community and gathering research findings for his publications, which coach and guide those involved with new enterprises.
His research findings led to his discovery of the "14 Steps to IPO" documented in his best-selling book, High Tech Start Up. Translated into four languages, this book is used internationally by entrepreneurs, investors, government leaders, university faculty members, and corporate and financial services executives to increase their understanding of entrepreneurial effectiveness.
Mr. Nesheim's most recent book, The Power of Unfair Advantage, addresses how winning entrepreneurs and their investors, as well as innovative business development executives and their corporations, build a competitive advantage so strong and so responsive that competitors complain that it is unfair.
