Program Director
David Ng is an assistant professor of finance in Cornell’s Department of Applied Economics and Management (AEM). His research focuses on international finance, particularly exchange-rate risk, country risk, and other risk factors that affect asset prices in the international and emerging equity markets. He is also interested in stock valuation and investors’ behavior in financial markets. Professor Ng has received a number of awards for his research on international valuation and his innovative teaching. He is a member of the program committee for the Financial Management Association. His research has been published in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management Science, Journal of Corporate Finance, and Journal of International Money and Finance and presented at meetings of the American Finance Association, the Western Finance Association, and the Financial Economics and Accounting conference.
