Engineering Cooperative Education Program

May 19-August 15, 2008

Engineering Cooperative Education Program Web site: http://www.engr.cornell.edu/coop/summer

Courses selected from the regular curricula (normally taken during the fall term of the junior year) in the College of Engineering are offered in the summer to accommodate the schedules of Cornell students in the Engineering Cooperative Education Program. Other students are encouraged to enroll in these courses as space permits.

The courses take place during two consecutive periods: May 19 - June 27 and July 7 - August 15. Pre-registration will occur from March 26 - April 11. Registration for both periods will take place on May 19.

Because the Engineering Cooperative Education Program summer term is essentially a curriculum term in the College of Engineering, tuition and fees are not those of the regular summer session but are based on the tuition and fees for a semester. In general, the regulations described for the summer sessions also apply to the Engineering Cooperative Education Program summer term, and health-care services and library facilities are available.

Students in the Engineering Cooperative Education Program summer term may also take regular summer session courses. It is the student's responsibility to be aware of all summer-session regulations and the deadlines pertaining to registration in electives.

Students may complete pre-registration forms in either the School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions in B20 Day Hall or in Engineering Co-op & Career Services in 201 Carpenter Hall.

All students must pay tuition and fees in full on or before the first day of Co-op Session I (May 19, 2008). Failure to do so will result in a $350 late fee. Students enrolling in courses after May 19 must pay all tuition and fees at the time of enrollment.
