Frontiers of American History
July 7-11, 2008
Frontiers of American History is a three-year program designed for high school teachers from New York State's Sullivan County. This year's graduate-level class, History 6212, will study the early French, British, and American exploration of the North American continental interior, focusing on cooperation and conflict between indigenous nations and settler societies, with the aim of placing the current bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark expedition into historical perspective.
