If you're ready for a challenge and you're seriously interested in developing business management skills, improving your career prospects, exploring a second major, and/or preparing for business school, then this program is for you.
The Cornell/AEM Business Management Certificate program is an intensive 7 1/2-week, 9-credit program combining classroom-based study with real-world experiences. The program is held on the Cornell campus in Ithaca, N.Y.

Students immerse themselves in classes five hours each day and then devote the remainder of the week to team projects, case studies, and other program assignments. All courses are taught by faculty from Cornell's Department of Applied Economics and Management (AEM), home to one of the top undergraduate business programs in the United States.

The Cornell/AEM Business Management Certificate program typically attracts a balance of non-business Cornell students and non-Cornell students of all ages and from many places, including Canada, China, Greece, Malaysia, Switzerland, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
The program takes place during the first half of the summer in order to leave time for student internships, jobs, or travel. Because of the intense nature of the schedule, participants must have completed at least their freshman year of college and be in good academic standing.
