Irby Lovette

Irby Lovette is director of the Fuller Evolutionary Biology Program at Cornell's Lab of Ornithology and associate professor of ecology and evolutionary biology.

He has broad interests in the natural world with a focus on birds, about which he has published more than one hundred research papers. Irby has worked in East Africa for nearly a decade and annually takes groups of Cornell undergraduates to Kenya on a popular field course to study ecology, conservation, and animal behaviors.
