Jennifer Gioffre

A technology-driven fine art photographer, Jennifer Gioffre is currently a teaching support specialist in Cornell’s College of Architecture, Art and Planning, where she manages the photography facilities and teaches digital photography workshops.

Jennifer studied at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, and earned her BFA at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During her time at Temple, she was awarded the Diamond Research Scholars Grant, which funded her research into the application of digital technology in nineteenth-century photographic processes.

Jennifer’s artwork continues to be informed by the technology of photography and explores the relationships between physiological and lens-based perceptions.
