Jennifer Fee came to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology in 2004 to develop and field test BirdSleuth, an inquiry-based science curriculum that engages kids in scientific study and data collection. BirdSleuth supports educators with innovative resources that build science skills while inspiring young people to connect to local habitats, explore biodiversity, and engage in citizen-science projects.
Prior to joining the Lab, Jennifer worked in the Missouri Botanical Garden’s Education Program. She holds degrees in biology from Truman State University and Illinois State University, with a focus on behavior, ecology, evolution, and systematics.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys camping, biking, hiking, and traveling.
The Lab of Ornithology, a Cornell and national treasure, works to interpret and conserve the earth's biological diversity through research, education, and citizen science.
