The Rowing Clinic

Week 1:

This program is no longer available.
Please contact us if you have any questions.

Cornell's director of rowing, Todd Kennett, and his staff are ready to help you become a competent rower—at your own pace. If you're a beginner looking for a new way to exercise, they will show you the basics. If you rowed in college and wish to relive that experience, they will smooth your way back onto the competitive track. Our group will start, as have so many generations of Cornell rowers, with sessions in Teagle Hall's crew tanks, and then move down to Cornell's newly renovated rowing center to work on all the aspects of the sport. We'll watch films, use ergs, and, of course, practice in boats—singles, doubles, quads, and even the eights. To ensure your success when you go home to row on your own, Todd and his staff will mold the entire week to fit your levels of need and fitness. Facilities and equipment fee: $100.
