Cornell programs for middle school students and high school freshmen

If you're interested in attending Cornell but are not yet eligible for Summer College, consider spending a week or two attending one of our nationally acclaimed CAU youth programs.

CAU offers one-week, non-credit summer programs for youth ages 3 through 15. All programs are taught on campus by Cornell mentors and feature educational and recreational activities, field trips, meals, and a chance to explore Cornell.

Recent programs have ranged from outdoor adventures and sailing to creative writing, animal science, cartooning, and engineering workshops.

Teens ages 13 through 15 may commute to CAU or live in a campus dorm with counselors.

Younger children attend CAU either as commuters or may live on campus when accompanied by a parent or guardian attending a CAU program for adults.

For more information, visit the CAU youth program pages or contact CAU.
