Stay:  A History of Suicide and the Philosophies Against It

Among the top ten causes of death in the United States, suicides take more than 30,000 lives each year. And the rates are rising. The increase is highest among the young, but has been experienced as well by middle-aged white woman, soldiers, and veterans of the armed forces.
