Cornell University School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions

Late registration and payment

If you're not able to pay in full by the second day of class in the three-week session, or the third day of class in the eight- or six-week session, but you're still planning to attend, you must contact us in advance to obtain permission for late registration.

If you haven't received permission to register late from the Summer Session office prior to the scheduled registration day, you must first obtain the instructor's approval to enroll and then pay the applicable fees at the time of late registration. If the deadline to add courses has passed, you must also go to B20 Day Hall to petition for permission to register. If granted permission, you must pay all applicable fees.
