ECON 1110 Introductory Microeconomics

Course description

Explanation and evaluation of how the price system operates in determining what goods are produced, how goods are produced, who receives income, and how the price system is modified and influenced by private organizations and government policy.

Forbidden Overlap: With regard to overlaps between ECON 1110, ECON 3010, and ECON 3030 (formerly 3130). Students may not receive credit for both ECON 1110 and HADM 1410. ECON 1110 is not a prerequisite for ECON 1120.

This course is also frequently offered in the Winter Session.

In addition, students who take ECON 1110 and ECON 3130 may not receive credit for ECON 3010 or PAM 2000. ECON 1110 is not a prerequisite for ECON 1120. There is no textbook for this online class, however students will be required to buy access to Aplia where an e-book is located.
