PE 1261 Fitness and Conditioning

Course description

This course will primarily focus on the body⿿s seven fundamental movements. Through functional training students will learn how to best prepare the body for the activities performed in daily life. This course is hands on and students will learn by doing, from Warm Up to Cool Down and everything in between, using the Octagon Functional Training Frame in the newly renovated Appel Fitness Center. Participants will learn how to structure their own fitness programs to meet their goals. No fitness center membership is included in this course. Non-credit fee: $100.
