Cornell-China Undergraduate Summer Program

To be eligible for this program, students must:

  • Be in good academic standing at their home university and have a GPA of 2.8 or above.
  • Possess sufficient English-language skills, as evidenced by a score of:
    • CET: 480
    • IELTS: 7
    • TOEFL (Internet): 100
    • TOEFL (paper): 600
    For students attending the six-week summer session where enrollment in a minimum of six credits is required, exemption from the WRIT 1011 class will necessitate the following minimum scores:
    • CET: 576
    • IELTS: 8.4
    • TOEFL (Internet): 120
    • TOEFL (paper): 677
    Courses are taught in English and students must be able to effectively communicate with faculty members, their fellow students, their roommate, and others to succeed in this program.
