Entrepreneurship and Empowerment in South Africa

To apply, submit the following to Neil Tarallo:

  • a cover sheet containing:
    • Full name
    • Address
    • Phone number
    • E-mail address
    • Major
    • Expected graduation date
  • a one-page resumé
  • a letter of reference commenting on your academic ability and achievement, and
  • an essay of no more than one page, explaining your interest in the EESA Program and the unique qualities, skills, or experience you bring to a program that helps historically disadvantaged entrepreneurs of South Africa. This could include entrepreneurial or educational experiences or any experience relating to creative problem solving.

Admission to the program will be on a rolling basis. Because enrollment is limited, you're encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Applications will be accepted until the program is full. Only complete applications will be reviewed.

Accepted students must enroll in courses and register for the program in B20 Day Hall. At the time of enrollment, students must make nonrefundable deposits for the program.

All students must register for a total of two courses and six credits. The course enrollment form, downloadable here, is also available in B20 Day Hall.
