The 2017 tuition is $1,360 per credit in online and regular sessions.
Payment is due in full for all sessions in which you're enrolled according to the deadlines below:
- If you enroll before May 5, 2017, payment is due on or before May 5.
- If you enroll after May 5, 2017, payment is due immediately upon enrollment and a $100 nonrefundable one-time registration fee will be charged.
Note: Your Bursar Bill will not reflect these Summer Session tuition deadlines. You must follow the deadlines noted on this page.
In addition, all prior balances must be paid to avoid registration delays.
Tuition for off-campus and special programs varies. Please see individual program descriptions.
Student health fee: To ensure that they have access to campus health services, visiting students enrolled in on-campus summer classes will be assessed the $100 summer Student Health Fee, unless they enroll in Cornell’s Student Health Plan (SHP). See the Health and safety page for details.
Course fee: A nonrefundable fee charged for certain courses is noted in the course description.
Registration fee: The Summer Session registration fee for 2017 is $100. We will waive this fee if you enroll by May 5. Students enrolling after May 5 will be charged this $100 nonrefundable one-time registration fee.
Further, an additional $100 per-week late-registration fee will be charged if you enroll and register after the late-registration period begins for the applicable session.

Replacement ID: A $40 fee is charged to replace a lost ID card.
Returned check fee: A $25 fee is charged for checks returned because of insufficient funds. In addition, any balance on your bursar account unpaid as a result of the returned check is subject to late fees. All returned payments made through Cornell CASHNet will also incur this fee.
