Cornell University School of Continuing Education and Summer Sessions

Winter Session 2019 will run from December 26, 2018 to January 19, 2019, with three-week on-campus classes beginning on January 2, 2019. We will update the Winter Session site in September. If you would like to receive an e-mail notice when this happens, please join our e-mail list. In the meantime, you may want to browse through the site to get an idea of what we offer.

Cornell NetID

For students who do not have a Cornell NetID

We strongly encourage Winter Session students to obtain a Cornell NetID. You cannot access your class schedule or the online evaluation system without one. For more information about the benefits of a NetID and how to get one, see Identification cards.

For faculty who do not have a Cornell NetID

Faculty members need a NetID in order to use Cornell e-mail, services, and some systems, including the Faculty Center. The Faculty Center provides a single entry point to the tools faculty need to advise students and to view class information (i.e., teaching schedule, class rosters, and grading information). New faculty receive their NetID as part of the employment process. A letter will be sent with your assigned NetID, an activation code to set your password, and activation instructions. The NetID and activation code cannot be sent by e-mail, telephone, or fax machine.

Note: Faculty who do not have NetIDs will not be able to access their class lists or online student evaluations.

If you have any questions, please contact the registrar's office.
